A great essay, but probably needs more specifics. Are the 99%, the majority of whom are simply calling for redistribution of wealth and more power to the politicians, actually advocating policies which will lead to further reductions in their quality of life? A gentleman brought this bar in to my shop today. It turns out to be a fake. He had no idea as he bought it on Ebay some time back. Thankfully, I test every coin and bar that I buy and detected it. This bar is 76% lead, with some other alloying metals that gave it the exact same density as silver. It had a very thin silver plating on the outside. This was the highest quality fake that I have seen so far.
